I've just installed the fire place.
Pro's
1. Measurement given for recess / alcove are accurate.
2. The fire comes well packaged, so unless the package has been dropped or crushed at some point, it should be fine.
3. Instructions for installation are adequate.
4. The fire looks elegant.
5. Operational instructions are good.
6. Everything has worked so far.
Cons
1. The glass panel when fitted doesn't fit flush with the wall. The metal backbox means there is a small approx 2mm gap between the wall and the glass.
2. The glass when fitted just hangs loosely on the internal fittings and can be pushed backwards and forwards. I was worried when the fans start up the glass might rattle- it didn't.
3. If anything goes wrong with the fire there isn't a contact number for spares or help. I suppose you have to contact Living and Home.

Took week to arrive but so far very happy with chairs, look pleasing to the eye and stack nicely, going to be used inside and outside so perfect for that.
A great piece of kit. Very well made. Excellent quality. But it is large, heavy and awkward to manoeuvre so some people might find it difficult to assemble and move around. A cover isn’t supplied and I haven’t yet found one that might be suitable. This means that late autumn every year it will have to be taken down and stored in the garage. No mean feat.
Whilst the size is perfect for our area the mechanism is tough and it needs ‘coaxing’ open, especially the first few times. Instructions are just diagrams no words which can be confusing and you need to buy the weight base extra - i got the large square water tank which seems to be very efficient and easy to move with wheels and handles. Hopefully it will stand up to the winds - only time will tell.
