The unit itself is quite good, however the instructions are severely lacking. On no less than 3 separate occasions did I have to undo the last two hours work, due to there being insufficient and inaccurate information regarding the build.
There are times during the build that the parts need rotating, to ensure that it all goes together correctly. The fixings are mainly ‘metal’ screws, but because the panels are so thin, often they end up simply spinning and not actually tightening.
Also, do not try to build this on a windy day, or if you do, make sure there are at least two of you, as the lid and door panels are awkward to assemble, I felt like I needed to be an octopus at times during this build.
The insuctions are as about as useful as a chocolate fireguard been trying to put this crap up for most the day and still have no idea how the door rail fits or how the doors fit. Will be seeking a refund. Dont buy this trash it belongs in a furnace .along with the instructions if you can call them that !!!!!
I'm so happy I did the shopping from your company
Hard to assembly because the instructions leaflet are very hard to understand.
Goodness me what a nightmare. The instructions state that two chaps could erect this storage unit in two and a half hours - well I think that might be true had they pracitised on ten others beforehand. I assembled the unit on my own and it took me over three whole days, with some difficulty in understanding exactly what was supposed to be done next and at times there were problems deciding which way up some parts were supposed to be in the scheme of things. Worst part was the lid, dreadful instructions that were less explicit than they should have been resulting in incorrect assembly, reassembling with still seemingly parts the wrong way round or back to front. This resulted in me using my hand drill to make more holes and using nuts and bolts of a size large enough to reinforce and make the structure much stronger than it would have been. In the future I will gradually remove as many of the self tapping screws as I am able and replace them with nuts and bolts. Having said all of that, I do now have a container that I can lock and relatively securely store my bikes in. Not overly impressed.
